Boat shed after feedback from class members

After hearing feedback from my pairs, I have changed a few things to my boat shed.  My class members thought that it was much better if the ground had more texture to it, so that it looked more like sand instead of a flat colour which is what I had before, they liked my idea of the kiwi batch style boat shed so suggested that I put New Zealand food in such as milk shakes and fish and chips splayed around the table, lastly I have also put more fairy lights into my boat shed to make it more vibrant.

The idea for my boat shed is to introduce myself in this design, I have used a range of different things throughout my boat shed to show how I have grown up, I grew up in Takapuna and spent most of my holidays away at hot water beach. Both Takapuna and Hot Water beach have been a big impact in the way of shaping my childhood. For my boat shed I wanted to make it a place to get away and relax but also make it much like a beach house itself. I have tried to make the boat shed as spacious as possible so that it has a nice warming feeling to it with natural lighting. I have produced this by using a full glass roof, window and open glass doors. Another feature in my boat shed to make it feel like my experiences growing up is the floor being sand, surfboard dining table and the map of where I live as wallpaper at the back of the room.
